Ceremony for the Announcement of the Accreditation Decision and the Presentation of Accreditation Certificates for Five Academic Programmes at the National University of Art Education

NUAE – On the afternoon of 30 December 2025, the National University of Arts Education (NUAE) solemnly held the Ceremony for the Announcement of the Accreditation Decision and the Presentation of Certificates of Educational Quality Accreditation for five academic programmes, including the undergraduate programmes in Vocal Performance, Piano, Cultural Management, and Fashion Design, as well as the master’s programme in Cultural Management.

Attending the ceremony on behalf of the Center for Education Accreditation (CEA), under the Association of Vietnam Universities and Colleges, were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Director of the CEA; Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chief of Office; members of the delegation; and representatives of media agencies, who attended and reported on the event.

Representing the National University of Arts Education (NUAE) were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Dang Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Vinh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector; Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Rector; heads of the University’s units; and representatives of its lecturers, undergraduate and postgraduate students.

On behalf of the University’s staff, lecturers, postgraduate and undergraduate students, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Dang Phuong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council, affirmed that the ceremony to receive the Certificates of Quality Accreditation for five academic programmes marked an important milestone in strengthening the University’s reputation, brand and educational quality. This achievement serves as objective evidence of the University’s strong commitment to quality, modern governance capacity, and the dedication of its staff and lecturers.

To achieve this result, the University has implemented a comprehensive range of measures, including reviewing and improving its academic programmes, innovating teaching methods, increasing investment in facilities, and developing a learner-centred academic ecosystem in which quality is regarded as a core value.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Dang Phuong emphasised that, in the coming period, the National University of Arts Education would remain committed to sustainable development, with a focus on accelerating digital transformation in arts education, strengthening the connection between academic training, real-world practice and labour market demands, and fostering a creative academic environment in which lecturers and students can fully develop their abilities and individual identities.

On behalf of the Center for Education Accreditation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Director of the Center, expressed her appreciation for the close coordination, proactive approach and strong sense of responsibility demonstrated by the staff, lecturers, postgraduate and undergraduate students of the National University of Arts Education throughout the external assessment process.

As of 30 December 2025, 45% of the University’s academic programmes had achieved accreditation standards, far exceeding the target set out in the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 78/QĐ-TTg dated 14 January 2022 and affirming the University’s outstanding quality among higher education institutions nationwide.

Commending the University’s efforts and achievements, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga emphasised that accreditation and assessment remain challenging for many higher education institutions, particularly those specialising in the arts. The successful accreditation of the University’s academic programmes has once again reinforced its reputation and provided compelling evidence to society of the quality of its education and training.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Vinh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Center for Education Accreditation, members of the external assessment team, and the University’s staff, lecturers, postgraduate and undergraduate students for their continued support, cooperation and contributions to the important tasks that enabled the National University of Arts Education to achieve accreditation for five academic programmes.

The Rector affirmed that this achievement was both a source of pride and a driving force for the University to build upon its strengths, pursue further innovation, address existing limitations and enhance the quality of its education and training.

The ceremony announcing the Decision and presenting the Certificates of Educational Quality Accreditation for five academic programmes concluded successfully. Recognising educational quality accreditation as a key priority for improving and renewing its academic programmes, the National University of Arts Education continued to undertake the self-assessment and accreditation of five programmes after completing the external assessment and receiving its Certificate of Institutional Accreditation for the second cycle. These included the undergraduate programmes in Vocal Performance, Piano, Cultural Management and Fashion Design, and the master’s programme in Cultural Management.

The successful accreditation of these five programmes has once again reinforced the University’s reputation and standing for educational quality, while demonstrating its commitment to sustainable development, international integration and the training of high-quality human resources in the fields of culture and the arts.
